Jennifer Hole, DDS - General Dentist
Dr. Jennifer Hole is a San Antonio native, born and raised in the Alamo Heights area. She attended the Honors Program at the University of Texas at San Antonio, where she double majored in Biology and Chemistry. Upon being awarded the Bush-Jones Sprenger Scholarship for Leadership and Academic Excellence, she attended Baylor College of Dentistry, where she graduated with her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2012. During her time at Baylor, Dr. Hole was involved in many leadership positions, including student council class representative, philanthropy chair, student consultant for Admissions Committee and a mentor for the summer pre-enrichment program for prospective students. She is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and enjoys volunteering in community events.
Dr. Hole lives in the neighborhood she grew up in with her husband, Dr. Steven Hole, who is a Captain in the United States Army. They have two children together, a daughter, Riley, who is two years old and a son, Everett, who turned one this past May. While life with two kids can get busy, in her free time she enjoys cooking, crafting, and running!
Joanna Ayala, D.M.D. - Pediatric Dentist

Dr. Ayala was born and raised in San Antonio, TX. She earned her Associates of Science degree from Blinn College in Brenham, TX and her Bachelors of Science degree in Biology from the University of Texas at San Antonio. She continued her studies by receiving her dental degree from Boston University where she served as Class President and graduated Cum Laude. With her passion for children, Dr. Ayala continued her education at Miami Children’s Hospital and earned her specialty certificate in pediatric dentistry. Her training included many aspects of pediatric dentistry to include sedation and hospital dentistry. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Ayala is currently a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Texas Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and American Dental Association. Her practice is limited to infants, toddlers, children and adolescents. Dr. Ayala will provide excellence service in all aspects of pediatric dentistry in a caring, professional and personal manner.
Cristian Brutten, D.M.D. - Pediatric Dentist
Cristian Craciun Brutten completed his pediatric dentistry residency at Harvard University in Boston, MA. Prior to his residency at Harvard he also completed a Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the University of Connecticut. As an educator, Dr Brutten has been faculty at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles and the University of Connecticut until 2014. He is actively involved in educational activities being engaged in current research projects at Children's Hospital Boston which involve the Latino population in New England. Dr Brutten is also a writer for the education column for the "US News and World Report". Besides his education in Dentistry, Cristian is also a professional musician. He has completed 2 Masters degrees in Music, one at Yale University in Connecticut and another one at Azusa Pacific University in California. Dr Brutten is from Brazil and fluent in Portuguese, Spanish and English. He moved to Texas in 2014 where he enjoys the cultural diversity and the Texas hospitality with his wife Roberta and 2 year-old son, Richard.
Shahad M. Abudawood, B.D.S. M.S. - Pediatric Dentist

Dr. Shahad N. Abudawood earned her Certificate in the Specialty of Pediatric Dentistry and obtained her Master of Science degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA). She is trained in all aspects of pediatric dentistry including prevention, diagnosis, delivering treatment under conscious oral sedation and providing comprehensive dental care in a hospital setting. Dr. Abudawood is Board Certified and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. In addition, Dr.Abudawood has also completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency from the same university. Therefore, she is well trained to provide excellent dental care for the permanent dentition. Dr. Abudawood has been an active participant in organized dentistry on the local, state and national levels of the American Dental Association and American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Currently, she is a member of the teaching and attending staff at UTHSCSA. She serves as clinical assistant professor teaching the new generation of pediatric dentists. She loves taking care of the little one’s little teeth and providing the best dental care possible. Her passion is to educate children and their families on the importance of oral health and to provide excellent treatment in a fun relaxing environment. She offers multiple treatment modalities under conscious sedation and/or nitrous oxide (Laughing gas) to help ease dental fear in young children. She wants to help every child to achieve healthy and beautiful smile they deserve. She is married and has 2 beautiful daughters. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family taking piano, gymnastics and swimming classes with her daughters.
